  December 27, 2011 - Opened for 1/2 hour on Christmas Eve. I was worried about this wine, having a few less than stellar bottles of Quintessa not so long ago. I was happy to see it back on track. Cool, cloudy glass. Elegant in the mouth, with terrific transition throughout. I agree with most all of what Eteyemd said other than preferring the 07 to this one. Perhaps another bottle of the 07 will change my mind.
