  December 27, 2011 - Opened with 2 hours bottle air. Deep purple to the glass rim and a wonderful nose of dark fruit, especially black cherry, flowers & spice. On the palate a mouthful of cherry, berries, spice and a touch of herbs & earth. This is an amazing Merlot dominant (60%) wine that is well worth seeking out. Great structure and balance should give this wine a decent run over the next 6-8 years.
