  January 2, 2012 - From 750 ml with low shoulder levels, obvious seppage. Dark color like Coca-Cola, and the cork crumbled upon opening. Very nice aromatics upon opening and held up for hours after. Very concentrated wine with good sweetness, some fig, brandy and tropical fruits apparent in the long finish. Not the most complex Sauternes, but the aromatics alone made this special. Plenty of life in this wine, and a real treat.
