  January 4, 2012 - Very nice, not outstanding. Drank with New Year's Eve dinner of sausage lasagna. Rich and concentrated, earthy, lots of tannins on the finish. Can't see this getting any better with more cellar time. Overall well-balanced and straightforward. I guess if you want a more contemplative wine, drink the big brother - Luce!
