  February 8, 2012 - Good food wine, pair with moderately herbal and slightly spicy lighter fare and heavier salads. Sharper cut to this sauvignon blanc, with a somewhat sour mineral citrus (grapefruit) taste good for cleansing the palate and cutting through expressive food. Not much tropical fruit in the mix. Moderate finish of same. Although balanced, Would be better balanced and complex if blended with a fraction of Semillon and Muscadelle or other floral and waxy smooth white. 100% sauvignon blanc. 12.5% abv. Body medium, acid medium or higher. Decent QPR at USD 10.
