February 13, 2012 - a new producer for me, and a new 1er Cru - a disconnect wine for me in that there's a layer of great acidity and freshness, and then a layer of mature burgundy flavors like beeswax, honeyed yellow fruits. Almost like tasting two separate wines in the same glass, and to me a little jarring.
