February 14, 2012 - Apples & lemon nose. Caramelized apples & pears on the palette with lemon & leezy cheesy overtones. Closes with crystal clear acidity that lingers nice and long. This wine spent 10 years on the lees and was just disgorged in November 2011 - what a very special treat for Valentines Day! Schramsberg will release magnums and double magnums later this year so watch out for that - I will be watching....
