  March 3, 2012 - OMG!! This was the first bottle of Velvet Glove that I've drunk, although I've had other wines from Sparky. This is the best Shiraz that I've ever had, including both Grange and Astralis. Wonderful, room filling nose, glass etching color, smoother than a babys cheek, and l o n g (like a minute) finish of complex fruit (which masks the head spinning alcohol!). Wonderful wine and drinking perfectly right now! Purchased from Mollydooker on release, stored in my pro wine cellar. This stuff is really, really good. Damn near gave it 100.
