  March 15, 2012 - It's interesting to see what an Argentinean Malbec does after 6 years. This stuff is insanely easy to drink. It almost has a merlot-like quality, with a huge fruity nose reminescent of blackberries and ultra dark cherries, and a very faint hint of spice and alcohol. The palate is very refreshing with raspberries, brandied cherries and light smoke. The tannins are VERY soft and the acidity is still quite prominent. Pretty awesome for $12.
