  March 17, 2012 - Opened this bottle and the cork showed a very light red stain and no crystalization. The nose was fruity with a hint of tobacco, but nothing extraordinary. The initial taste was very good with plenty of fruit, some mushrooms and a hint of complexity. As it opened up, the mid palate became much more evident with an earthy taste. This was a very good bottle, but not sure if the $40 purchase price reflected the quality vs value.
