  March 23, 2012 - Another enjoyable blaufrankisch from Uwe Schiefer. Clear, medium ruby color and a medium insense nose. Dried flowers, cranberries, and raspberries with a bit of a mineral note build from the glass. A clean, dry wine with medium plus acidity and medium tannins punctuated by white pepper and brambly raspberries with dusty minerals. The finish is of medium length and this is certainly a very good blaufrankisch.
