  April 7, 2012 - After reading reviews about this hyped up value red blend out of Washington, I was very anxious to give it a try, honestly, I was a bit disappointed. On the nose, I immediately smelled sweet oak, which I most of the time loathe on a wine. The palette revealed more sweet oak, black fruits, and a strange finish. I believe one member described it as metallic, and that's pretty on point. I revisited the wine the next day and liked it better but wasn't blown away. To be fair, it may need more time in the bottle.
