  April 8, 2012 - 15.6% alcohol. from magnum. splashed into a riedel somm magnum decanter (an extremely worthy purchase!), kept in the cellar for two hours, and poured back into bottle for transport; then back into the decanter at an easter dinner with about 16 guests. terrific showing for this wine, and i credit the bottle prep. moderate tannin without an alcoholic stigma and complimentary oak; big backbone framing excellent fruit. expressive and delicious.
