April 12, 2012 - Sancerre can be too austere & "stinky" for me. (I own almost no SB) With that in mind; this was great as an aperitif, and I'm sure would be a versatile and able food wine. Well balanced with a somewhat extracted or wood-influenced mouth feel, and excellent but not over bearing acidity. No rough edges. Flinty finish. Will buy more.
