  April 19, 2012 - Lots to like here, but it's the aroma that strikes me most. Clove, tobacco, smoke, cranberry, oak combine for a nicely complex nose. Black cherry on the front of the palate, with smoky tannins dominating the finish. Tannins are still very assertive, even at 12.5 years old, but this nevertheless drinks easily. Very enjoyable.
