  April 20, 2012 - my last bottle: Dark ruby color, smells of licorice and earth, hints of blackcurrant with a little spice. Very nice flavor. Bold upfront with short lived oak/tannin aftertaste. Not much fruit left, but overall very smooth. Will decant and try again.
  Even smoother after decanting, but still not much fruit. Some earthiness.
