  April 28, 2012 - Tight upon opening. Aromatically, hard to pull out anything specific. Deep dark burgundy coloring and clearly coated the glass. Ran through venturi which opened it up a bit with some dark cherry now on the nose. First sip was non-descript & warm/hot on the finish. 10 mins later the minimal port starts to show through both aromatically and taste. It has mellowed out, showing more full body with a distinc begin/middle/end. Tannins strong and need a bit longer to open up. Will decant remainder of bottle and celler the rest of the bottles for at least a year.
