  April 29, 2012 - I rarely give point scores, but I feel compelled to try to bring up the 88 that this wine has averaged. It is drinking really well at the moment, and I have a feeling it is on the upward curve. Started out with very strong, pretty much overwhelming, tannins a few years ago, and now they have softened up. Elegant and rustic, grass, herbs, maybe sage, earth, all good things. A lot of depth. Reminiscent of a nice cab franc. I am a huge Beaujolais fan (what QPR), and this just cements that these wines can really go the distance.
