  November 6, 2011 - (Discloser: John and Katie Fones are very good friends. Just know that friends or not, I call them the way I see them). I first tasted this wine at the wineries release party and loved it. It is very impressive for a first release Pinot. The winemaker, John Fones clearly has my taste buds dialed in. On 11/6/2011 I had this wine with a group of 12 people. To the person everybody loved this wine. It is a medium-bodied CA Pinot Noir with red berries and licorice in the mouth. The finish is extraordinary in that it is almost sweet and lasts for a good half minute. This wine is a crowd pleaser and I love it.
