May 4, 2012 - The previous reviewers drank this a year too soon. We LOVED it! Gorgeous deep ruby in the glass, with jammy nose of cherry, blueberry, and plums. Mouthfeel is perfectly balanced between acid and tannin and a certain smoothness, though not velvety at all, but oh, so smooth. This paired well with a spicy chicken enchilada dish, but would be great paired with the bumper of a car! Just wish we had bought a few more bottles of this last fall when we were in Monterey .... Great wine for the price!
