  The nose is pure cracked white pepper, and some cooked meats. Beautiful, powerful bouquet that isn't too ripe or over the top. Plenty of fresh red fruit on the palate, with silky smooth tannins. The tannins aren't particularly prevalent. I'd say this is a wine built for near-mid terms consumption. Very, very nice wine. Certainly worth the price tag. Modern, but not over-the-top obnoxious modern.
