  May 18, 2012 - Dark, dusty ruby. Lots of black and dark red fruits on the nose, and some cinammon and sous bois as well. nice balance between the acidity and tannins, and a long, mouthcoating finish. distinctly more wood than in previous bottles, where it was not noticeable at all, and the nose was a panoply of classic gevrey scents. While still very good, the presence of the wood knocks it down a few notches from the glorious previous bottles I've had. hoping the rest are more like the previous bottles than like this one.
