  June 2, 2012 - Not the best vintage from this estate. This Arcus lacks the Burgundian complexity to which I've become accustomed. Spices, subtle vanilla ad dark fruits on the bouquet (hard to distinguish). The finish still has a fair bit of heat and oak, but BIG with cocoa, cherries and an earthy/mineral quality. Still quite good Pinot, but the least appealing Arcus I have ever had with seven years of aging.
