  June 7, 2012 - Perhaps a little more understated than most Turley SVD zins. Maybe the location? Still had the dark hue in the glass and the red fruit and spice nose, but a little more floral. That minerality was present in the palate which was dominated by brambly red fruit and white pepper. This lacked the power and finesse of the Ueberroth and Pesenti, but a great wine none the less. No need to cellar, it's ready now.
