  January 1, 2007 - Tasted twice over 24 hours. Dark, dark red. Excellent color. A nice nose, with black fruit, but not overpowering fruit. A bit of spice. Overall a pleasing effect. Nice mouth feel, a smooth finish with a little tannin. No oak monster. More old world than new. While this may last for 10-15 years (I really don't have the experience to say) I think it drinks quite well now as a baby.
