  August 10, 2012 - Others have noted that their bottle of this wine may have been oxidized. That was my first take when I opened my bottle. However, I think the issue is that the wine is terribly unbalanced. To much fig and apricot on the front end quickly giving way to an acrid, overly dry finish. On top of which, the wine just didn't taste all the good. Too bad as I love white Rhones. This one just didn't have the makings, no matter it's top of the line pedigree. Guigal should be embarrassed for this effort. No wonder it's readily, heavily discounted.
