  August 25, 2012 - Opened the previous night, 2 oz poured out, re-corked and placed back in fridge for 12 hours.
  
  Dark opaque red. Nose of leather, plum, garrigue and sage. Tart, juicy tongue and palate, still a bit closed and only showing traces of dark fruit. Somewhat narrow mid-mouth, will medium/medium- acid and a light feel and lift. Finish is medium with earthy tannin.
  
  Needs more time to fill out the mid-palate, but seems at this stage a step behind the '07 and '09 at similar points.
