  August 26, 2012 - 8/26/2012 Purple-brick color; deeper than expected. Medium fruit on the nose (berries?). Medium body and medium- finish, a bit of tannin. Perhaps a bit of spice. (Bigger and more tannic than expected; decent, and good value, but not quite together enough to be a great value.) 86--89 pts.
