  August 29, 2012 - I LOVE Ehren's SVD zins and the old vines is a great wine. Some vintages of the Juvenile are great weekday wines when you don't want to pop a Pesenti, Ueberroth, or Salvador. I don't get the love with this vintage. Muted all the way around. You get some red fruit on the nose but the big raspberry and brambles is missing. Very little tannin therefore the acid takes over. Short finish, but not unpleasant.
