  September 11, 2012 - This has been a fairly variable wine, but this was an interesting bottle. Spicy, almost raspy, rustic and lively. Licorice, pepper, and cherry. Vibrant and explosive. A bit thin in the mid-palate and dry on the finish, but this is wild and delicious nonetheless.

  9/30/13, 7:11 AM - right on. my only concern was given the thin mid palate could this bottle last until 2022 without it becoming a high acid-tannin mess?
