  September 14, 2012 - Really nice bottle. Inky dark color; glowing scarlet at the edge. Deep, brooding nose, with some very slight vegetal (green pepper?) hints. Silky smooth on the palate, balanced dark fruits and a lovely acidity. Had with a nicely marbled steak, and the acid with meat was just perfect. Two of us polished off the bottle without issue. Yum.
