  September 29, 2012 - Quite ripe, with black cherry and cassis fruit, but there's an oaky edge that gives the wine a root beer/vanilla edge that I dislike. And there's not really much going on here besides the fruit, hardly any secondary nuances. Still drinks quite young and there's plenty of tannin around so maybe it will turn into something more interesting down the line.
