October 14, 2012 - Popped and poured. Drinking really well right out of the bottle. Soft and supple; not an over-the-top, jammy zinfandel; restrained & focused. Really started to open up after about 20 minutes in glass. Lovely red berry profile with a little hint of spice, bright and vibrant on the palate. Definitely one of the least concentrated wines I've had from Morgan and although a little simple, this is an excellent QPR.
