  October 15, 2012 - Medium ruby with only a little orange tinge. Good intensity on the nose. Very savoury and little fruit - mushrooms, truffle, blackcurrant leaf with some cooked fig, prune, strawberries. Lots of tertiary evolution. Slight hint of VA.
  
  Palate - Lively acidity. Medium bodied. Tannins are now well integrated giving a silky mouth feel. Medium intensity on the palate, with again fungal notes and cooked red fruit. A minty, eucylyptus note. Only a hint of oak. Length is long. Very good now and perfectly in drinking window.
