  October 17, 2012 - I had wanted to try this varietal and bought this as an example. From the start it didn't appeal to my palate at all, so please take that into consideration. This tastes like strawberry jam, much too fruit forward and cooked. I rarely like sweetness in wine and, while it is a dry wine it still has that cotton-candy overtone in abundance. Some people like these characteristics, so if that sounds good to you then you will most likely enjoy this wine.
