  November 12, 2012 - I have opened several bottles of this wine over the past three years. This most recently consumed bottle is the best yet. It seems to be improving slightly with time. It is still fresh, with a bold dark color, and a berry flavor. It went well with smoked Turkey dinner. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that is blended into this wine gives this Merlot a darker color than most, and also seems to be giving the wine added longevity. The wine surprised me. My wife even liked it. I would rate my first bottle on this wine about an 88, but the most recent bottle is an 89.5 or even a 90 score. This wine was a great deal. I think it is within 12 months or so of its peak, but it is drinking really well right now. Ithink it will last about 2 or 3 more years. But, why wait.
