  1/6/13, 10:55 AM - Easy, to me it was overly oaked and it tasted hot (ie high alcohol). To put into perspective this was an event where 30+ VA wines and ringers were tasted blind in a random order. The bottle could of been served at a higher room temperature then it should of been, but I can only rate the wine on what I tasted. This probably also has to do somewhat to personal preference to style of wine, but when I notice high alcohol and too much oak its a big turn off for me.
