  December 6, 2012 - Same impeccable balance as the regular Screaming Eagle, just with the "volume" turned down. The wine came across as distinctly cabernet sauvignon based, so I'd guess there is a significant component of cabernet sauvignon in the blend. But there are no hard edges to this wine, so there's clearly a healthy amount of merlot as well. Absolutely delicious though perhaps not a long ager.
