    12/17/12, 8:28 AM - i guess it depends on the food you're eating and your preference. some cali cab tend to be sweet vanilla oaky and very filling. some prefer and are used to that taste. hawley is a simple pleasant medium bodied earthy old worldly delivery...not too rich or complex but solid taste for the price. don't think typical price range from stores taste like this. heat from mine is subdued. even better after a few hours or days. it's my last bottle. again, it's a more unique and hard to find californian especially for an older vintage for the price. however there are other european and south american wines similar at the same price range.
