  December 17, 2012 - Nose totally closed down. The alcohol level (~16.5% according to Parker) added an unpleasant heat to the palette. The palette was not as closed down as the nose though. Tanins are tough.
  
  Will put remaining bottles deep into the cellar and hope that the balance will improve...
