  December 20, 2012 - Thin ruby color with a light raspberry nose. Light sweet red cherry with some darker highlights. Not very robust, little tannin.

  12/20/12, 4:04 PM - Brig, I am surprised at the lack of fruit and tannin in this wine, especially given Montelena's pedigree and past vintages. Unless you can detect more fruit than I did, I'm not sure how time would improve it. Good luck. Stephen
