  January 12, 2013 - Tasted and then decanted for about an hour. Opened up nicely. Distinct nose... then fruit... a smooth but unmemorable finish. Didn't leave as much of an impression as the 2001 which I enjoyed earlier in the week... But to be fair, drank the '01 at a fine restaurant with dinner vs having the '97 at home with pizza. An excellent wine non the less.
