  January 20, 2013 - 5th btl from a case of 12. Previous bottles were pnp, I now know that without a decent decant that these btls were wasted: at the time I thought they were disappointing due to being closed. I decanted this btl for 2 hrs and it was excellent. Herbal with black fruits and smoky bacon hints, very S.Rhone but with an almost Claret-like elegance, like a good book I couldn't put it down! Agree with previous comments re being 'correct' in the sense that it is polished, not funky or particularly 'wild' though at the same time it's definitely not commercial. This is superb now with a decant and easily has 3-4 yrs ahead of it.
