  January 27, 2013 - A little too early. Took a while to open up. Nowhere near as rich as I expected from a Cayuse syrah. Too much acid for my palate.
  
  The wine is a dark purple color with a bit of a funky note. Smells of dark fruits--blackberry, currants, prunes. Tastes the same with a bit of mineral and acids.
