January 27, 2013 - A quick "look in." First off, this is a great Angelus - will equal and likely surpass the 89 and 00. Amazing fruit and minerals. Though still tightly coiled, with air this will give pleasure. Expressive nose of mocha, dark fruit, graphite, tobacco, and pencil. The palate elevates everything. Layer after layer of black cherry, blueberry, cassis, oak, graphite, liquid mineral, leather, and pencil. Already some fine balance, but there is tannin to shed. It is my belief that this Angelus will need at least 10 (probably 20) years to really start strutting its stuff. Fantastic! 98+ Pts

PS 2009 Doisy Daene is not to be missed!
