  February 9, 2013 - Deep ruby, big ripe fruit forward nose showing cherry, plums, cocoa, spice, and a touch of butterscotch. Obviously showing the heat of the vintage and seemed a little hot for the 13% alc. noted on the label. Could have easily been mistaken for a Cali Pinot. A bit on the fat side for sure but with no obvious signs of age.
