  December 31, 2012 - Deep plummy, dark fruit and spice on the nose; game, spiced fruit, chalky minerality in balance with well integrated tannins and solid acidity - but just a bit light; long finish emphasizing a bit of eucalyptus and spicy wood. Gets better with air and is in its drinking window. Lacks that extra depth and texture to rise to the next level.
