  March 29, 2005 - The nose screams Bordeaux: brett, leather, black olives. Behind this you'll find dark fruits of casis and blackberry. In the mouth the wine shows less depth than the nose would suggest. But the spice, salt and mineral is attractive. With some time in the glass the brett notes blew off (some) to reveal a stronger fruit component. I would rate the nose much higher than my overall score. This wine seems to be at its best right now and I would drink it over the next three to five years.
