  March 9, 2013 - Color stainging on the legs, hinting at the alcohol levels. (Label says 15.2%). Dustry cab nose. Spice box. More earth than fruit.
  Hot on the palate. The alcohol burn seems to dominate. After that decent tannin and acidity. Nice black fruit.
  Overall impression: I was hoping to love this wine as I have loved some of their lower priced blends. I liked, but didn't love. It was a deecnt showing, but not a standout. I think the alcohol level was the biggest challenge for me. Not running out to buy a case.
