  March 12, 2013 - It's always a shame when older bottles do not perform as they should. But that's the risk you run with older wines more than 20 years of age. Sadly, this bottle seemed far too advanced for its age, with more lightness to the color, dusty plums, cocoa and raspberry notes in the aromatics and finish that ended far too quickly. I've had much better bottles. Good storage and provenance counts.
